vAAL Pegasus Sound Pack

info

If you or someone you know can provide full, accurate scripts from the AAL flight attendant manual, please contact us at admin@virtual-aal.com. Transcriptions or recordings of YouTube videos, etc. are not needed.

caution

These are for Pegasus only; soundpacks for Fenix are being worked on separately and will be provided at a later date.

We provide a soundpack that can be streamed via Pegasus which provides basic cabin announcements that play during flight.

These sounds are not enabled by default; you must enable them within Pegasus. You can do so by selecting vAAL in Pegasus and navigating to the Settings cogwheel in the left hand menu (annotation A in image below) and then changing "Announcements" to "Enabled" (annotation B in image below).

Editor's Note: For what it's worth, the majority of cabin announcements are not heard in the cockpit, especially when the door is shut -- which it is for most of the flight. As such, it's not particularly realistic to hear most of these sounds, especially not loudly. Sound packs have been often requested, so we are providing them, but if you are seeking a realistic experience we felt it worthwhile to mention that keeping these announcements disabled is closer to the true experience for flight crew.

info

You may need to restart Pegasus after enabling announcements for them to play.

caution

You cannot enable announcements mid-flight. Once a flight has started, if you make changes to the setting they will not take effect until a new flight is started.

Volume can be adjusted each time a sound plays; in the bottom left corner of Pegasus a pause button and volume slider will appear for the duration of the sound.
